FAQ
The questions groups ask us most often before booking, grouped by topic.
Booking
How do I book?
You send your request with the dates and number of guests through the form or WhatsApp. We call you to confirm availability and close the booking.
How much is the deposit and when is it returned?
The deposit is €400. It is paid by bank transfer to the account we give you when the booking is confirmed, and refunded within 48 hours of checkout once everything has been checked. It is not refunded in the event of a serious breach of the house rules.
Do I need to pay in advance to book?
We do not require payment up front to confirm a booking: you send the request, we speak by phone and confirm it. Payment is arranged later, before your stay.
What's the cancellation policy?
If you can't come, you don't lose your money: we move the booking to another free weekend within the same season. Let us know as soon as you can so we can find a date with room to spare.
What time is check-in and check-out?
Check-in is at 2 pm and check-out at 5 pm. With a group this size, a few extra hours to pack up without rushing make a real difference.
What's the minimum stay?
Two nights, year-round. At Christmas and New Year it is three nights (24 to 27 December and 31 December to 3 January), and at Easter and on some long weekends it can also rise to three; we'll confirm this when you book.
Can we come with fewer than 12 people?
Yes. The house sleeps up to 16, but it is let as a whole with a minimum of 12 places: if you are 8 or 10, you pay for 12 and the house is just as much yours, shared with no one.
Can we rent by the week?
Yes, and in summer it is what we recommend most: a full week for 12 guests comes to €3,900, €46 per person and night, with the pool just for you. Write to us and we will fix the price.
The house
How many people fit?
To sleep, up to 16 people: 12 in fixed beds plus 4 extra beds. If you are fewer than 12, you can still come by paying the 12-place minimum. For a meal or a celebration, the dining room takes 100 diners and the grounds of the estate hold many more.
How many bathrooms does the house have?
All six bedrooms have an en-suite bathroom, plus additional shared bathrooms in the living areas.
How do the sofa beds work?
There are four extra beds: two in bedroom 1, which is a quadruple, one in bedroom 3 and one in bedroom 6. That is 12 places in fixed beds and 16 with the extra beds.
Is there heating and air conditioning?
Yes, the house has heating and air conditioning, plus a fireplace and a wood-burning stove in the common areas for winter.
Is there wifi?
Yes, wifi covers the whole house — enough to work during a company retreat or for the kids to watch a film in the evening.
Is the house accessible for reduced mobility?
The ground floor is adapted for reduced mobility and holds the living room, the dining rooms, the kitchen and bedrooms 1, 2 and 3; bedroom 1, a quadruple, is accessible. Bedrooms 4, 5 and 6 are upstairs. Tell us your situation when booking and we'll get it ready.
Cooking
How do I book the catering service?
The accommodation comes without meals: you cook for yourselves in a kitchen equipped for the whole group. If you would rather not cook, any weekend we prepare home-cooked meals and leave them ready in the kitchen at the agreed time; nobody is in the house while you eat, unless it is needed. It is arranged with Nacho when booking, with enough notice to plan the menu, and the price is quoted on request.
What kind of menus do you offer?
Traditional Castilian-La Mancha cooking with local produce: roasts, stews and grilled dishes. We adapt the menu to the group and the occasion.
Can you adapt the menu for allergies or intolerances?
Yes, tell us about the group's allergies and intolerances when confirming the menu and we'll take them into account.
Can we have a cold beer keg waiting when we arrive?
Yes: a 30-litre keg of Mahou, tapped and cold for when you arrive. Ask for it when booking and we will quote the price.
Surroundings
How far are Toledo and Puy du Fou?
Toledo is 35 minutes away and Puy du Fou España 40. Talavera de la Reina, known for its ceramics, is just 15 minutes away, and the Barrancas de Burujón, for the sunset, 35.
What can we do near the estate without a car?
Route 14 hiking trail starts right at the estate, and Los Cerralbos village is a 1.5 km walk along a dirt track.
House rules
How late can the evening go on?
You have the estate to yourselves, with no neighbours, so you can enjoy yourselves until late: all we ask for is common sense. One thing, though: before going to bed, clear away any leftover food and drink from the terraces. This is the countryside, and the local animals and insects come for them. If the house needs extra hours of cleaning, they are deducted from the deposit.
Can we organize parties or events?
Yes: family celebrations, birthdays, weddings and company gatherings. Tell us what you have in mind and we will organise it with you. The dining room takes 100 diners and the grounds hold many more.
Do you host weddings?
Yes. The estate is let for weddings and large celebrations at €4,000 for the weekend: the whole house for 12 people plus 4 extra beds, a dining room for 100 diners and all the grounds. The details are settled with Nacho before confirming.
Are pets allowed?
Yes, with prior authorization. Tell us about your dog (breed and behavior) when booking and we'll confirm.
Can we smoke inside the house?
No, smoking is not allowed inside the house. It is allowed on the terraces and in the garden.
Is the pool open all year round?
No, the salt-water pool is seasonal, from late May to mid-September depending on the weather. The rest of the year the estate is enjoyed with the fireplace and wood-fired oven.
Do you all fit? Check dates
Send us the dates and how many you are. Nacho will call you, answer any questions and confirm. Nothing is charged until then.
