Celebrations and weddings

Weddings, milestone birthdays, anniversaries, communions and extended family gatherings: the whole house for 16, a dining room seating 100 guests and all the grounds of the estate. You bring the guests; if you like, we cook, serve and clean up.

Some celebrations don't fit in a restaurant and aren't the same split across several houses. A communion with the whole family, a milestone birthday with old friends, or a gathering that brings three generations together calls for a place of your own, with a kitchen and no clock watching. At Finca La Simona the house is yours for the weekend, and the menu, if you want, is ours to handle. 12 to 16 people can sleep over; for the meal, the dining room seats 100 and the grounds hold many more, so a wedding with the whole family fits too.

What's included

The whole house, with terraces and garden for drinks and the dining room for the celebration meal.
A local-produce menu with traditional Castilian-La Mancha cooking, adapted to the occasion and to any allergies in the group.
Table service and cleaning after the event, so no one in the family has to clear plates.
Seasonal pool, garden and olive grove for the children to play while the adults linger over the meal.
A dining room seating 100 and grounds with no practical limit: day guests do not have to fit in the beds.
Marquees available if the group is larger than the house, on conditions agreed in advance.

How it works

You book the house as you would for any stay, with dates and number of guests.
We settle the menu for the celebration day with enough notice: starters, main course, dessert and drinks.
On the day, the kitchen and table service run apart from the rest of your stay: you enjoy it, we handle the kitchen.
We agree the music curfew, capacity and estate rules in writing before confirming, so everyone knows what is and is not allowed.

The catering service, our point of difference

Most rural houses in the area leave cooking to the guest. At Finca La Simona it's the other way round: cooking, waiting staff and cleaning are a service with a price guide, not a favor buried in the small print. That turns a rented rural house into an estate with service, and it's exactly what a celebration needs: the family host gets to sit at the table too, instead of watching the oven.

Can we bring outside catering?

Our catering service is designed to cover the celebration, but if you prefer outside catering, check the conditions with us before booking.

How late can we play music?

We confirm the exact curfew when booking, and it is somewhat more flexible for celebrations with catering than for a regular weekend.

Can we set up marquees if the group is bigger than the house?

Yes, with capacity, music and catering conditions agreed in writing before confirming the event.
