The whole house for 12 to 16 people, two nights, pool or fireplace depending on the season. Everyone sleeps under one roof, each bedroom with its own bathroom, an hour from Madrid.
A group weekend at Finca La Simona starts Friday afternoon and ends Sunday, with the whole house to yourselves: two or three families, a lifelong group of friends, or the gang celebrating a milestone birthday. No one sleeps on the sofa and no one queues for the shower: six bedrooms, each with its own bathroom, three downstairs and three upstairs, for 12 guests in fixed beds and up to 16 with the four extra beds.
What's included
- The whole house: six en-suite bedrooms, a living room with a fireplace, a games room, two dining rooms and a fully equipped kitchen.
- Seasonal salt-water pool (late May to mid-September) and a barbecue in the garden.
- Terraces with long tables to eat all 16 together, looking out at the Sierra de San Vicente.
- Private parking on the estate and your own olive grove to walk through without meeting anyone.
- A cook, a waiter and cleaning, optional and on request, separately or all together, if you would rather not cook every day. And a cold keg of Mahou waiting for you, if you ask for it.
A weekend, hour by hour
- 2 pm Friday. Arrival, bedrooms sorted out, and a first shopping trip to Talavera or Toledo if needed.
- Friday evening. Dinner in the dining room by the wood-fired oven, or a barbecue in the garden, depending on the season.
- Saturday morning. Pool time or a walk through the olive grove; early risers can head to Cazalegas or the Sierra de San Vicente.
- Saturday afternoon. A day out (Toledo, Talavera or Puy du Fou) or a quiet afternoon on the terrace, whichever the group prefers.
- Saturday evening. The long dinner at the table for 16, with or without catering.
- Sunday. A relaxed breakfast and checkout at 5 pm, with plenty of time to pack up together.

Why it works for a large group
The key to a group weekend isn't just the number of beds: it's that no one has to give anything up. Six en-suite bedrooms mean no queuing in the morning and no arguing over who sleeps where. Long tables on the terraces mean no eating in two shifts. And a private estate with no neighbors in sight means no worrying about disturbing anyone once the group gets going after dinner.
We celebrated a friend's birthday here and the place is perfect for it. There's a big terrace, a pool, and we couldn't have been better looked after — the owners are attentive and help with anything you need.

How many people fit exactly?
12 guests in fixed beds, up to 16 with the four extra beds: two in bedroom 1, one in bedroom 3 and one in bedroom 6. The minimum rate is calculated on 12 guests.
Can we book catering for just one day and cook the rest?
Yes. A cook, a waiter and cleaning are booked separately or all together, for whichever day or days you want; it's not all or nothing, and the price is agreed with Nacho.
Can we book for just one night?
No, the minimum stay is 2 nights year-round, and 3 at Christmas, New Year and some long weekends.
Is there wifi if someone needs to check email?
Yes, wifi covers the whole house, though the weekend plan is really about switching off.
