A private estate an hour from Madrid for commercials, short films, series and brand videos: a house with character, an olive grove, a pool, sunsets over the mountains and room for trucks. The crew sleeps on location.
Filming outside Madrid usually means losing half a day to the road and to permits. Finca La Simona is in Los Cerralbos (Toledo), an hour away on the A-5 and fifteen minutes from Talavera de la Reina, and it is private property: permission to film in the house and on the grounds comes from us when you book. It is rented whole, with no other guests, so the crew works, eats and sleeps on the same location.

How it works
- Write to us with the dates, the type of production and the size of the crew and cast.
- We arrange a location visit so the DoP and production can see the house and the grounds.
- You book the house like a normal stay: accommodation for the crew, two nights minimum, check-in at 3 pm and check-out at 5 pm.
- If the production needs different hours or a single shooting day, we look at it with you and fit it in between bookings.
- If the crew eats on the estate, we can leave home-cooked meals ready in the kitchen at the time you agree.

What makes the crew's work easier
On a shoot, time goes on transfers. Here the crew and cast sleep on the location itself, with six en-suite bedrooms and up to 16 beds, so the first shot of the day is filmed in the morning light and not after an hour in a van. The dining room serves as production base and catering, the terraces as a rest area and the bedrooms as wardrobe and make-up. When the day wraps, the house is still yours to review footage and prepare the next day.
FAQ
Do we need a permit from the town council?
Not to film inside the estate: it is private property and permission comes from us. If you want to film on the road or in the village, that is up to the Los Cerralbos town council.
Can we fly a drone?
Over the estate, yes, with the operator and the aviation permits the regulations require, which are the production's responsibility.
How many people can work on the shoot?
Up to 16 people can sleep over. During the day a considerably larger crew fits; tell us the size and we will sort out parking and meals.
Can we change the decoration or move furniture?
Yes, with care and putting everything back where it was. Big changes, such as emptying a room, are agreed beforehand.
Is there room for trucks and generators?
Yes, on the open area next to the house and on the estate tracks. Tell us which vehicles you are bringing and we will show you where to leave them.
Can we film at night?
Yes. The estate is in open countryside with no neighbours next door, so night shots disturb no one. We only ask for common sense with noise.
